Horigin started from a simple observation: on a watch, a "Swiss Made" or "Made in France" label doesn't reveal the real origin of what you're wearing on your wrist.

Case, movement, dial, strap… These components can come from very different countries, and brands rarely highlight that.
At Horigin, we decided to make the invisible visible: we gather public data on each of the 12 key components of a watch, so their origin becomes as clear as their price.

Horigin is neither funded nor influenced by the brands it lists. No partnerships, no sponsored content, no purchased ranking.
Our data? Only public sources (official websites, product sheets, press releases). And our method? Fully transparent: it's all explained on the Methodology page.
What we do (and don't do)
Horigin doesn't judge a brand's quality and doesn't recommend one country over another: we surface factual information so you can apply your own criteria via the My preferences page.
